Light, wood & white.
Street-front windows and morning light. A long white counter at the coffee bar, with antique grinders on the shelves. A long window bar with stools, lounge chairs and tall plants, and a corner with a tall wood-slat wall and marble café tables. SORO lettering on the windows — and at night, the storefront lit up on Wilshire.

About film permits
In the City of Los Angeles, FilmLA says commercial filming on location needs a film permit — on private property as well as public, and for commercial still photography too. Photos made for publication or to promote a business count as commercial.
FilmLA’s standard filming hours in the City of LA are 7 AM to 10 PM on weekdays and 9 AM to 10 PM on weekends; filming outside those hours may require a survey. The standard neighbor notification needs at least three days’ lead time. FilmLA also lists minimum general liability insurance of $500,000 per occurrence for still photography and $1,000,000 for motion filming.
This is general information from FilmLA, not Soro policy, and requirements change. Check FilmLA for the current rules before your shoot.
